What to expect from A Native Touch

Making the decision to get a massage can be hard for some people. Where to get the massage can be even tougher. You'll probably want to make sure he/she is compatible with you before you make this decision. You can use the following list before making your decision if it helps with your needs:

*How comfortable you are with your massage therapist
*Their level of professionalism
*Their knowledge of the muscular system and how it interacts with the rest of your body
*Their training / licensure
*What massage modalities they use
*What massage modalities are appropriate to your needs

My name is Charmaine Brungardt. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of A Native Touch. Here at A Native Touch, I strive to cater each massage to each specific client. No two persons' muscular issues are identical, and neither are their massages. I would not give a man with neck pain the exact same massage as a woman with low back/hip pain. The time allotments and techniques would be completely different from each other.

I use a wide range of massage modalities, including Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue Massgae, Lymphatic Drainage, Massage Energy Techniques, and Prenatal Massage. I pull techniques from all of them based on your needs and wants, to create a massage that is specific to YOU!

I attended Heritage College, in Kansas City, MO. I took a 14-month course and achieved an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy, and am also certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage.

Feel free to call or come by to meet me or to talk about your massage needs! I'm available in my office during regular business hours. If I'm in a massage session when you stop by, there should be a time posted on the door that lets you know when I should be free, and you can come back then, or wait in the office. I will get to you as soon as I can!
